"Indie Game: The Movie."

Q: What are some of the difference between "big games" and "independent games" in terms of style/concepts and how they are made?

A: Big games are developed by a big company or team while Indie games are often developed by a single person or a team consisting 4 people. For example, Super Meat Boy which is an indie game was developed by two people, while a game like Counter Strike is developed by a bigger team.

Q: What are some of the difficulties the developers in the film had to overcome

A: The Developers sacrifice time that they would normally use to socialise with other people and on top of that they are racing with time because they do not want fans to wait to long. For example, the developer of Fez did not have as much time to go out and meet friends because he is busy developing his game so he can release it as soon as possible.

Q: What do you think you would like about working on an indie (independent) game? What do you think you might not like?
A: Making the game the way I want it to be is something that I like. If I ever design an indie game, I will be doing it on my own so basically anything that I think of I would be able to implement it into the game without worrying about any team members not liking it.

Q:  What is some advice you could offer to someone who is trying to create their own game, based on what you learned in the film?

A: My advice would be to take your time and only mention a release date once the game is nearly done. If you take your time, you will not be rushed.

Q: For the developers, what is the best part of completing the creation of a game?

A: According to the developers, seeing the peoples reactions playing the game is the best part.
